Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Postars (the "Service"), a web application for drafting, formatting, scheduling, and publishing content to LinkedIn. The Service is operated by Castane AI, a company registered in France ("Castane AI", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
2. The Service
Postars lets you write posts, generate drafts and diagrams with AI, convert content to LinkedIn-ready formatting, schedule posts, and publish them to your connected LinkedIn account. Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service.
3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- Paid plans are offered on a monthly subscription basis (currently "Starter" at €9/month with a limit of 30 published posts per billing cycle, and "Unlimited" at €19/month). Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice.
- New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You provide a payment method up front; unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan begins and your payment method is charged automatically.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant Castane AI a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service — including sending it to third-party providers such as LinkedIn (to publish) and AI providers (to generate drafts or diagrams at your request). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to publish it.
5. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties including LinkedIn, Stripe, and AI providers. Your use of LinkedIn through Postars is also subject to LinkedIn's own terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them. We are not responsible for third-party services.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content;
- violate LinkedIn's terms, spam, or engage in automated abuse;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- resell or misrepresent the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Castane AI and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or code except the right to use the Service as intended.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduled posts will always publish (for example, if a third-party API is unavailable or your access token expires).
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Castane AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under French law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes are subject to the competent courts of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
